Indulge
yourself with a glorious holiday at a superb hotel on the golden, sun-kissed
beach of Wimbe. Nestling amongst swaying palm trees and the warm Indian
Ocean, Pemba Beach Hotel offers you the ultimate getaway.
Situated just outside of Pemba, the capital of the Cabo
Delgado province, the hotel offers exclusivity and tranquility in an
idyllically beautiful and tropical setting on the unspoilt Mozambican
coastline. Breathtaking coral reefs lie just off the coastline and their
magnificent display of colourful coral species, thousands of tropical
fish and mammals like whales and dolphins are waiting to be explored.
The
Pemba Beach Hotel has 60 rooms; some interleading, plus an Executive
Suite and a Presidential suite; all of which are sea facing, with individual
balconies or terraces. The bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with bath
and shower, air conditioning, mini-bar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone,
coffee/tea making facilities, electronic safe, international plug sockets
and hair dryer.
Dining
A lá Carte menus and buffets specialising in fresh seafood are
served in the Quirimbas Restaurant with its lovely alfresco terrace.
Lunch can also be a relaxed affair around the pool or at the Club Naval
bar situated at the Watersports Centre.
Activities
The Club Naval Activities Centre, pier and marina - all completed in
September 2003 - now offer the following activities: Snorkeling, scuba
diving, water skiing, sausage skiing, tube skiing, para-sailing, jet
skis, wind surfing, hobie sailing, kayaking (single and double), small
fishing boats, glass bottom boat rides, sunset cruises, surf and pier
fishing.
Sport Fishing
The Pemba region is one of the best fishing hot spots in the world. The
main focus is on the Quirimbas Archipelago, a string of islands beginning
about 60 km north of Pemba and continuing almost to the Tanzanian border
270 km north, with shallow water amongst the islands but very deep
channels close inshore with unbelievable fishing.
